You can now cast your vote for your favourite countryside project to win the Hampshire Choice Award at this year’s Countryside Award Ceremony.

This year, the Hampshire Choice Award is celebrating the incredible work being done to preserve and enhance the Hampshire countryside. Having already won their respective categories, the winners from each award category are now competing for the Hampshire Choice Award, with the general public deciding which project is their favourite.

The shortlisted countryside projects address pressing issues such as climate change, highlight nature’s restorative benefits on health and wellbeing, celebrate our protected landscapes, and promote community projects at the grassroots level.

Nominations for the Hampshire Choice Award include:

• The Hampshire Grassroots Action Award – Alton in Bloom Community Grow Club
• The Hampshire Projects in Protected Landscapes Award – Blacknest Fields Nature Recovery
• The Hampshire Climate Action Award – Future Energy Landscape Workshops, Energise South Downs
• The Hampshire Countryside Health & Wellbeing Award – Walk ‘n’ Talk Therapies by Winchester Youth Counselling

Each of these remarkable projects contributes significantly to the Hampshire countryside, making it a better place for everyone to live, work and enjoy. Our judges have done their part and selected the award winners; now it’s your chance to vote.
